Family-owned and based in eastern North Carolina, BrodyCo is a developer with a demonstrated history of cultivating vibrant spaces in the area. BrodyCo has applied its creativity and customer-first methodology to mixed-uses within the residential, office, medical, and industrial arenas. More than two decades ago, BrodyCo, as a co-developer, brought the vision of Mayfaire Town Center to the Wilmington City Council, proposing to rezone almost 400 acres of farmland for the mixed-use project. There were few other projects of this size and stature in North Carolina at the time, and many thought the project to be wishful thinking. After much effort, that vision came to life. In 2024, Mayfaire Town Center celebrated its 20th anniversary as a vibrant, multifaceted district. In developing Mayfaire Town Center, BrodyCo helped foster public-private collaboration for transformative urban mixed-use planning, including local and national retail, casual and fine dining, business offices, and headquarters, medical providers, hotels, residences, and biking and pedestrian-friendly green space. Mayfaire Town Center has transformed the area into a destination to live, work, shop, play, and dine. BrodyCo has thoughtfully designed Mayfaire West as a natural progression to Mayfaire Town Center, seamlessly connecting the two and extending the thriving district.
